Civils Site Manager / Site AgentCheshire & North Wales

Salary/Rate: Competitive (DOE)
My client is a well established civil engineering sub contractor with a good reputation in the market. Due to an increase of contracts, they are expanding their management teams.
Looking for an experienced Civils Site Manager / Site Agent to join delivering a range of civil engineering projects across Cheshire and North Wales.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in reinforced concrete structures, retaining walls, and general civil engineering works, with the ability to manage projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the day-to-day operations on site.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise subcontractors and direct labour.
• Deliver projects safely, on programme, within budget, and to specification.
• Oversee reinforced concrete works, retaining walls, drainage, foundations, and associated civils.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and quality documentation.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, suppliers, and the project management team.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety inspections.
Essential Requirements
• SMSTS
• CSCS (Manager Card)
• First Aid at Work
• Proven experience as a Site Manager or Site Agent within civil engineering.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, retaining walls, and general civils.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
• Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor.
• NRSWA Supervisor.
• Experience working with NEC contracts.
• SSSTS (additional qualification).
• CAT & Genny training.
