This is an excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer with at least two years of UK experience to join a forward-thinking client offering varied projects, professional growth and genuine responsibility.
The role involves working closely with a team of Engineers, coordinating CAD Technicians and delivering high-quality structural designs across materials such as concrete, steel, masonry and timber.
Applicants will take ownership of analysis, design work and reporting, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
The position includes supporting Senior Engineers from project start to completion, preparing clear sketches and design documents, undertaking site inspections, resolving issues on site and representing the client at design meetings. Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor junior Engineers are important, along with a solid understanding of Eurocodes, British Standards and CDM Regulations. Experience across new build, refurbishment and conversion projects is highly beneficial.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla, REVIT and Bluebeam is required, together with competent use of Microsoft Office. Candidates should hold an accredited BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering or a related discipline and be near Chartered or actively working toward Chartership, including readiness to complete the IStructE Certificate of Structural Behaviour if not yet qualified.
